What If I Don’t Have Enough Head Hair?

Many people shave their heads and do not have head hair to sample. Simply cut a pubic sample.

Don’t worry about not having enough head hair. Many people shave their heads or have undergone chemotherapy, so you can submit pubic hair, beard, or chest hair.

Do not feel uncomfortable about cutting a pubic sample; the pubic hair offers an excellant sample to test for body toxins.

Do Not Mix Samples

Head hair grows about 1/2 inch per month, but pubic and chest hair grow much slower. The lab sets specific parameters for the different types of body hair, so they cannot be mixed together.

Can I Send Both Types Of Samples?

Yes, but put them in two separate baggies marked which sample is which.
