I am wondering if the hair analysis is something I should pursue. I have noticed substantial thinning of my hair along the forehead and temples, receding about 2 inches. I have had my hormone levels checked, and supposedly I am within the proper range, but my doctor mentioned that I could always try Propecia.
I do not have a great diet; I tend to graze all day and would say I lean toward carbohydrates and coffee. I can’t eat dairy, and do not really eat a lot of fruits and vegetables.
Hair loss can be due to genetics, diet, nutrition, stress and hormones. Some things you can do something about, and some you can not. But instead of guessing why this is happening to you at this time in your life, and guessing about what to do about it; and instead of always wondering if you could have done something different to stop this, I do suggest having a hair analysis done so that you can see, once and for all, what your nutrient levels are and what toxins have been accumulating inside of you over the past 2 years or more.
